The Buon Tempo Club came together in 1958 for the single purpose of having a “good time” promoting and preserving the positive aspects of the Italian heritage. It also provides scholarships for Italian American youth participating in activities that benefit the community.  To date, membership has awarded over $150,000 in schlolarships.

Buon Tempo meets twice a month at the Castro Valley Moose Lodge on Rutledge Road. One is a family dinner, the other—just for the men—is “a boys night out to gather and enjoy our Italian heritage.” Membership is open; Click on “Membership Info” for details.
